Steve has taken the first Thursday and Friday off of work, for years, so that he can saturate his brain with college basketball. I have actually been participating in March Madness this year. It’s good to spend two days sitting in our big chairs, clicker on the arm rest, ready to switch games as the mood dictates. I even filled out my bracket and I have won more than lost.
The best part though has been our conversations, and the intermittent interruptions to snuggle 4 week old Sean. They call them laptops for a reason, and both our laps are occupied. E-mail, Scottrade, a game, and our current Bible study windows are open. As we watch and chart our games we are discussing various theological topics and it is just about perfect.
I think it could only be improved by full maid service and the occasional massage; Marvelous March Madness. It’s a good thing.
